Autumn Ales Revisited

Time for darker beers with more depth! I enjoyed the first open fire of winter on Friday with North Downs Gold by Titsey and the week before I sat out with Sussex Ruby Porter, see what you can discover this autumn across your county! 🍺🍺 Get out more!!

This October I have explored 12 Kent pubs, mostly rural and in September four more Kent pubs locally and nine new to me Sussex pubs! Keeping the industry on its feet! 🍺🍺

I will hope to visit many more in November as and when I can but first I’m off to Suffolk for a long weekend epic with fellow ale afficiendo ArmyoS http://thedrift.substack.com

Suffolk brews some great ales but Norfolk beers are popular and widely available too. The giants are Greene King and Adnams but plenty local micro breweries and pubs serving from the barrel, my favourite being the Fat Cat in Spring Road, Ipswich, this pub is worth a pilgrimage, upwards of 12 real ales + many ciders, a proper drinkers haven!

I will write an indepth review of my trip here next week, meanwhile some pictures of my latest finds! Whoever enjoys beer knoweth a good thing. I was chatting with a barmaid in Rolvenden Layne on York pubs! Brings ppl together! 🍺 Great British Beer 🍺 🍺

Planning a London Thames crawl too! And various Sussex/Kent winter trips, stay tuned 😁

Many picture albums of my summer pub trip in North Kent and Sussex here  http://bmc.link/LadyFeck
