Côtes de Gascogne Sauvignon

Today I’m enjoying a simple salad of grated cheese, carrot & apple blended in greek yogurt with rocket and sliced black olives so I wanted a simplistic white wine to compliment the blandness of this dish

Les Collines de Luzanet 2023 Sauvignon Blanc on offer at Waitrose £6.99 Côtes de Gascogne just 10.5% but pulling in at the weight of a rounded 12.5% to taste

How does this move my groove?

Fresh lively delicate floral, nectarine and a dab of gooseberry, lemon thyme and elderflower

Worth a try! A good year rounder 🥂

💛🤍💛🤍💛

I’m also throwing in a review of Waitrose Luis Felipe Edwards SB and The Whale Caller SB with Colombard so with last week’s Chilean White that’s 4 low end whites to cheer your weekend or not!! 😁😆

See what new wine regions you can pick up this season!!
